How are ethnic groups represented in the music industry

In Bon Jovi- Wanted Dead or Alive the band members are represented in a normal, positive and stereotypical way. The males are represented as successful, peaceful, not argumentative and there are no swear words present in the song/performance (swear words are stereotypically present in Rap culture in which black people are mainly present). Furthermore, they are dressed as stereotypical white rock stars, they are not wearing chains, baggy jeans or other clothing which is linked with Rappers and stereotypically black people.
In a scene in the music video, door of the limo is held open for Jon Bon Jovi. This illustrates the stereotypical representation of them. Stereotypically black people are not successful and if this video contained black people. the limo door probably wouldn't be held for them. This represents the white nature of the singers in a stereotypical way. Another shot that illustrates they are stereotypical successful men is the shot for them being on a plane. In the days when they used to tour and play, flying on a plane was expensive and thy had the money for it. Stereotypically, black people are poor and wouldn't have enough money to fly on a plane.

2pac-Ghetto Gospel- The title of the song is stereotypical itself. Stereotypically (as mentioned above) black people are poor and live in Ghettos.
In this shot of the music video, there is a group of black males which are dressed in a stereotypical way for black people. They are wearing baggy jeans hanging off their butts, chains and oversized clothing.
